I am getting my first Klout Perk: 'Franklin & Bash'. I was pleasantly surprised because I am a Klout user but having not specifically applied for Klout Perks, I did not even know I was eligible until yesterday @KloutPerks tweeted @ me:

'@bsak your Klout has earned you a Perk - @FrankandBashTNT get-briefed kit! Get it at http://bit.ly/jVjmQc'

I am curious about this new series, so today I visited Franklin & Bash website e checked out their Facebook page. Looking forward to the première tonight!

SoundCloud Meetup Torino #scmeetup

Media_httpfarm4static_pbgqj

SoundCloud Meetup Torino took place yesterday, MAY 25 and SoundClouders from Torino SoundCloud Community finally met IRL for the first time!

The venue - Megabeatz Studio - happened to be located inside my ex-primary school, now a place for artists and musicians (photo).

A couple of SoundClouders got cool cameras and took photos of all the attendees. Hopefully the pics will be posted on SoundCloud Meetup Torino Facebook event. Stay tuned!

A Facebook Like from FriendFeed co-Founder

Media_httpfarm4static_eeosi

Yesterday Paul Buchheit (Y Combinator, FriendFeed co-Founder and GMail creator) posted 'Open Spark Project - Your Music! Played through Lightning!' on FriendFeed. Pretty cool. I can only imagine how the music and entertainment industry will use this invention in the near future!

So I liked the post on FriendFeed, retweeted it and shared the Open Spark Project stunning video on Facebook tagging the source/him. And WOW (check out the screenshot above).

This also reminds me that the Like was originally a FriendFeed concept that was later adopted by Facebook when they acquired FF. As FriendFeed is my all time favorite social network, this Like from FriendFeed co-Founder made my day!

Jane McGonigal @ MEET THE MEDIA GURU

Yesterday I attended MEET THE MEDIA GURU: Jane McGonigal on alternative realities, game design and online collaboration.

Here are my mobile uploads of the moments I find most interesting of @avantgame on gamification:

1. 'Playing games is the single most productive thing we can do with our time.'
2. 'PERMA'
3. Infographic of the time spent on games vs human evolution
4. 'Games activate 10 powerful positive emotions.'
5. 'Being happy makes us successful - and not the other way around.'
6. 'The 3:1 ratio'
7. '... they live 10 years longer.'

In the Q&A time she added that according to a study, 20 hours a week is the tipping point for positive gaming, however she suggested to play seven hours a week: one hour a day.
